Filter elements

The filter cartridge is the most important element of the filter system. Filter elements with one process remove solid impurities + water + soft sludge (sediments, resins, varnishes). Filter elements are made according to the type of treated liquid. For industrial liquids based on petroleum products, the filter elements are made of special cellulose produced according to a special recipe. The cellulose is wound onto the core on computer-controlled winding machines. The cellulose coil, which ensures the precise capture of contaminants, is adapted specifically for individual types of filter inserts. The lower part of the filter insert is pressed into a reinforcing paper circle so that it has a higher density than the upper part. This design guarantees gradual capture of contaminants. Larger contaminants are captured in the upper part and smaller ones up to 1 µm in the lower part of the filter insert. The hard paper circle increases the accuracy of filtration and prevents deformation of the filter elements. The non-woven fabric is pressed into the bottom of the filter element and prevents trapped contaminants from re-entering the system. For easier removal of the element from the filter body, each filter element contains pull-out strips.

For water-glycol-based industrial liquids, filter elements of type WG, SWG are made of synthetic non-woven fabrics (PP) and do not absorb water, only solid contaminants.

WE inserts (water eater.) are designed for high water contamination of the oil and emergency conditions.

The result of the specially developed design of the filter elements is highly precise and effective filtration. Filter elements remove a very large amount of solid contaminants of metallic and non-metallic origin and water without damaging, changing or removing the general properties of the oil. Filter elements do not capture and do not remove additives and ingredients from the oil!!! The result of ECOFIL filtration is that the oil remains clean and undamaged.

Type HH is designed for super fine filtration and treatment of oils with an emphasis on the removal of soft sludge, deposits, varnish, resins and particulates. The filter cartridge removes and traps solid particles from 1µm in size. The filter cartridge is specially designed to remove soft sludges, deposits and resins up to MPC ΔE ≥ 1 and purity class NAS1638 3, ISO4406 14/12/9. The HH filter cartridge is designed for the treatment of oils in servo valve systems and sensitive laboratory instrumentation.

Type WE (Water Eater) is designed for the filtration and treatment of oils with emphasis on the removal of large free water. The filter element removes and traps water and solid particles from 10µm in size. The filter element is designed to remove free water to a level of 300 ppm (300gm/litre) and solids to NAS1638 cleanliness class 8-9, ISO4406 19/17/14. The WE filter element is designed for the treatment of oils in low pressure systems.

Type GB (gerabox) is designed for filtration and treatment of high viscosity oils up to 1000 cSt (mm2/s). The filter element removes and traps water and solid particles from 8 µm size. The filter element is designed to remove solid particles to NAS1638 cleanliness class 8-9, ISO4406 19/17/14. The GB filter element is designed for the treatment of high viscosity oils in gearboxes and low-pressure systems.

Filtration elements - type TRAFO

Type TRAFO is designed for filtration and treatment of insulating (transformer) oils. The filter element removes and traps free and bound water and solid particles from 1 µm in size. The filter element is designed to remove free and bound water to a level of 1 ppm (1gm/litre) and solid particles to NAS1638 cleanliness class 3, ISO4406 14/12/9. After treatment with the TRAFO liner, the insulating oil achieves a breakdown voltage ≥ 70 kV/2.5mm. The TRAFO filter element is designed for the treatment of oils in electrical systems with insulating oils.

Filtration elements - type TAN

The TAN type is designed for regeneration of insulating (transformer) oils. The regeneration element removes and captures oil oxidation and ageing products, DBDS and solid particles from 3 µm size. The regeneration element is designed for complete regeneration of insulating (transformer) oils at temperatures from 8-25 oC! After regeneration with the TAN element, the insulating oil reaches breakdown voltage ≥ 70 kV/2.5mm, IFT (mN/m) ≥ 35, color (ISO2049) max. 2.0, DBDS (mg/kg) < 4.5. The TAN regeneration element is designed for regeneration of oils in electrical systems with insulating oils in service!
